I’m a fourth-year Ph.D. student at Virginia Tech, advised by Prof.Ruoxi Jia. Before that, I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from Beijing Institute of Technology.
My research focus on Trustworthy Machine Learning and Data Valuation. I am especially interested in exploring and enhancing privacy in advanced Artificial Intelligence, specifically in the realms of Computer Vision (CV) and Natural Language Processing (NLP). Throughout my research, I have delved into various aspects of privacy and security in machine learning, including model inversion attacks and defenses, differential privacy, and backdoor attacks and defense mechanisms.
I have served as a PC member and reviewer for AAAI, ICCV, Neurips and CVPR, and have reviewed for IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing, IEEE Transactions on Multimedia, and IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology. Additionally, I have also served as a reviewer for ACM Multimedia.
